I have two very close childhood friends. We do a lot together. We always spend our birthdays together, go to the cinema together and talk at least once a week. We are all 25.
We're so close, we basically know everything about each other. We are all girls.
But most people seem to think that if you are super close to a friend, whether it be a girl or a guy, you must "secretly have feelings for them"
Because if you open up to anyone, or show love and concern to someone... you must secretly be in love with them.
In the last decade, I have seen this explode in Hollywood films... and honestly, it is really ruining platonic bonds that people in the past had been able to form.
The term "Bromance" comes to mind when I think of this, and was really my first introduction to the whole apparently secretly "queer" aspect of friendship that we must all share.
Guys who are close in media... can't just be close friends. NO. They have to die for each other, not have any other friends that they can be close to, there can only be one BEST friend, and if you hang out with any one else in the movie or show. At least if you show you care for another friend a great deal, YOU ARE CHEATING on your best "bro"
This has been a huge issue for a lot of guy characters in recent media, and is now even starting to affect girl friendships in TV and movies too.
If two girls show that they are best friends, they MUST kinda like each other romantically. There has to be no other way.
I just think it's so sad yet funny, how the closest bond in most kid movies these days IS NOT the romantic lead, but the best bro.
I would also say the best sister (Cough cough, "Frozen") But it is truly just shocking.
It's like Hollywood doesn't know how to write deep friendships, without crossing over into awkward romantic territory. It's like TV doesn't know how to do this either, as this problem is really becoming so prevalent, it's scary.
I noticed this year, that two major animated films that came out, The Lego Batman movie and Captain Underpants, took the aspect of a rival or friendship... and just tried to turn it gay or romanticise it.
Yes, it was done for laughs, but there was a pure intent hiding underneath it. "If you are super close to someone, you are subconsciously in love"
There's no buts about it in Hollywood's eyes.
Batman and the joker? They hate love each other. They need each other more than anyone else to function.
NO.
George and Harold? They can't survive when they are apart.
NO.
What these movies are now showing is that it is healthy to have a co-dependent relationship with your best friend. That your best friend (usually male in these films) comes before anyone else, even family, other friends who could equally be as close, and your actual other half (girlfriend or boyfriend)
I actually think this way of thinking is messing up young people. Younger people are finding it harder and harder to make close FRIENDSHIPS. Most are saying that their best friend and closest friend is their other half (and sometimes their only friend, who they would actually call "friend")
This is really frightening.
When people don't form friendships that are as close in movies and TV, they get mystified and confused.
"But my best friend is meant to be there for me ONLY. My best friend can only be best friends with me! I can only have one best friend?!"
I have two best friends (three if I include my sister) and I have many more close friends. I don't consider these people the only people I can be close too, I will be close friends (and even besty over time) with anyone.
But people are afraid to let others in now, because they associate closeness with vulnerability, and vulnerability with that other emotion we are told to search for more than ANYTHING else, "romantic love"
It is just... sad.
It's sad that a lot of people are believing that people can't just be close friends, that you can't share a connection with someone without it being romanticised, and that you have to be selfish with your friendships. Because as Hollywood likes to say these days (especially in kid films) You can only have one BEST FRIEND. Not two or three, no.
You need a co-dependent relationship, and when your bestie or you do get a girlfriend or boyfriend- THEY COME SECOND PLACE.
Because that's how Hollywood works. And that's how media deforms and perverses the mind.
Not even kid films are safe I'm afraid to say.
Not even shows for three to five year olds like My Little Pony are.
And its sad, it really is.

Why Robin in Teen Titans Go is hilarious To Me
Robin in TTG is F*CKING HILARIOUS!
There I said it, and I'll stand by it. I have never seen a character this funny before in a kid's cartoon show.
Let me introduce to this hyper-active raving schizophrenic, Robin, the boy wonder!
There's just something about this character that is funny, no matter what he does. He is ultimately the ever confident, self professed leader of the Titans. But he has proven many times that he is over the top insane, obsessive, violent and really really controlling.
You might think that these qualities shouldn't be in a character in a kids' show, and you'd be right. But this is not the typical kids' show. It is violent, characters that are meant to be the heros are often huge idiots and jerks and people die constantly.
But in all of it, Robin is just incredible fun to watch.
He is often the one that gets the shit beaten out of him, more so than any other Titan by a mile. And something about just watching him get nearly killed so many times and injured just brings out the sadist in me which I didn't even think existed. He just screams so funnily, like he is in actually pain. I've never seen this type of character portrayed like this before. And because he is so over the top all the time, even his everyday movements are always so high and alert. When he does get the crapper beaten out of him, I just can't help but laugh and get a sick joy out of it.
Heck, he is essentially my torture porn. He's just so pathetic, but in his patheticness there's this inner ability to still be the best, and that is such an odd combination. I am honestly waiting for the day for when he cracks, because it keep getting closer and closer to happening.
But in all honest opinion, he's just got so many quirks to love. His schizophrenia is one, and even though I know it's not directly stated in the show, it's obvious he has it. And people may find that offensive, but speaking as someone who has schizophrenia, I actually prefer this type of character portrayal of a mentally unwell character than one who is a murderer- which is usually the root they take with schizophrenics in media. I guess there's just something to enjoy. When he talks about hearing voices in his head, I can relate and I find that hilarious. When he has breakdowns, I know the feeling, so again I find it so funny.
Then there's also he's terrible love life and his obsessive crush on Starfire. If there's one thing I know about schizophrenia is that we do obsess to a big degree on stuff. And he obsesses over the top so funnily I just can't help but laugh my ass off at this. He needs medication! He acts like he is always manic (which is another Schizophrenic attribute) and like he never sleeps. But just that he keeps coming up with new and crazy ways to try to get her with him and failing each time is funny and so sad that it's funny. I really feel for the guy. I actually do want him to get the girl. But the thing is, it'd never work. He'd probably go even more insane if she actually did fall in love with (as unlikely as it is) and also, he's just not in the right state of mind. He has huge issues with love, and I love just seeing him fail again and again. But at the same time, a small part of me believes he could succeed, and that just makes the ride more enjoyable. I am actually rooting for Robin here, but still relishing in his failures.
Simply put, he is a very unique character. I have never seen a character like him before on a kids' show. But he is really a unique creation and no other voice actor could get him this perfect. Better than Stewie on Family Guy. Better than Sheldon on Big Bang Theory, and better than Barney from How I Met Your Mother. Robin beats them all in my book because when you have a batshit insane character that is willing to do anything and is the first funny schizophrenic character ever, you've got my vote :)

Are Audiences Getting Too Demanding and Controlling?
I remember a time, when if you liked something and someone didn't, you could simply agree to disagree. People wouldn't hold a grudge and the two groups would go their separate ways.
If you liked a show like Family Guy and someone liked South Park, you wouldn't need to compete over which show was better. You could simply go, well let's just like what we like.
People wouldn't try to tell you what to like.
But lately, I've found the internet has been a festering ground for people to tear down and even destroy things that they deem unworthy of being on in the cinemas or TV.
For instance. Twilight, pre internet. Girls would read it and love it. They would see the movies and be fans. But then, oh wait. People who didn't like it would start screaming and ranting about how it shouldn't even exist and how bad the stories were. Ignoring the fact that the stories were just entertainment and many loved them, they would at any attempt try to sway people from reading them- even if that person might find they would've really enjoyed the book.
Luckily Twilight survived the hate.
But go forward five years and now the demanding subset of people are trying to control everything people should enjoy and not enjoy.
For instance. Teen Titans Go. It was a reboot of the original Teen Titans and has proved quite successful with ratings. But so many people despise it and would love to tear it down. Why? I've watched some episodes and it's hilarious. People like to make the claim that children watching it will get dumber or will misbehave more- but I watched South park as a kid (along with my siblings) and we never did anything the characters did on the show. And talking about how the show is a bad influence- have these people never seen Sponge Bob or Ed, Edd and Eddy? Two other popular shows that went way over the top with bad morals. Kids aren't stupid. But these people will go to the videos and pile on hate in the comment sections, calling anyone who enjoys something they don't deem acceptable as idiots and "autistic retards".
What ever happened to having your own likes and dislikes. If I don't like a show, I usually steer clear of it and let others enjoy it. But so many people feel they have to be public avengers, and they tend to miss the actually joy these types of shows bring to people.
It was the same thing that happened to Batman Vs Superman movie. Most people liked it or thought it was okay, but the twenty percent that hated it, went way over the top and started abusing the people who liked it in the comment sections. They would make hate videos saying how bad a movie it was, they would try to dissuade a person from seeing it at all costs. Their hate was unprecedented, and you know what. If someone uses hateful speeches and bullying to tell me not to see something, I probably would think they are self righteous prick. But that's just me, I listen to myself. But so many people, who would've liked the movie, suddenly avoid it because they are being harassed and told they are an idiot if they even step foot into the cinema. Most people don't want to sit through something which they think will be unenjoyable, so don't even give it a chance. Even if it is a mob mentality and the only thing the haters want to see is blood shed for something they dislike.
It's just shocking how prevalent this has become with online society that it is even spreading out to the wider world. I met a girl at a group meeting one time, and she told me that if I liked a certain band she would have to get up and not talk to me ever again. I found this ridiculous. And she was being serious. Since when does a person have to like all the same things as another person? Since when was it acceptable to make everyone a clone and only enjoy what is deemed likeable by the minority of very aggressive viewers who can't just let people like what they like?
It's a shame but it's a sad truth of this world.
And it is only getting worse I am afraid.

What inspires and moves me.
I'm a very fussy person.
Yeah, I'm very fussy... not with food, not with friends, not with outings... okay a little bit.
No, what I really fussy about is what I'll feed my soul with.
I'm a writer and digital artist. Granted I don't really make any money off of these, but if I have to say something that I am, that is it.
No, what I'm trying to get to is that.
I'm so fussy with art, with what I feed my soul that I miss out on a lot.
I wasn't always this fussy, but in the recent two years I've become extremely fussy.
And it's a shame because I really want to be captivated and moved by so many things yet nothing much is doing it for me.
I have this belief. That if you create something, it should be art, it should be from the depths of your soul. But I also believe it should have some market value- IE: be accessible to a wider audience.
Now what's my predicament?
I'M NOT GETTING ENOUGH SOUL FOOD!
Yes, I said it. I want more soul food, as I'm starving on what I have.
I literally have to go out and create my own soul food because what I'm getting, in the most part is not nourishing me, at all.
I want art that is deep, meaningful, entertaining, beautiful and accessible to me when I want and not too over stretch.
If I'm going to read a book I want to be entertained from the very first page to the last. I want suspense, I want action, I want romance and humour. I just want the words to flow.
Why are so few authors capable of giving me the full package? That's all I ask.
The only author that has come close to giving me everything was Stephenie Meyer in her story "The Host"
And at a far stretch The Amazing Mr Enter in his story "Little Cassie" and "Love Lust and Lollicons" a fanfic I read a LONG time ago.
I have a very short attention span. If it doesn't entertain me straight away I will quickly stop. I'm not interested in a slow build up. If you are going to do one, then at least make the characters irresistible, 3 dimensional and interesting.
I fare better with movies, but still, out of ten I'll see only one or two will entertain. I'm very selective.
I want plot! An amazing plot that only amazing story tellers can tell.
And what do I get... boredom. Telling me I should be amazed when really all I am is SNORE...
Urgh...
Though animations never seem to fail me, I get ten a year now in the cinema, that is still not enough.
The only thing that seems to really work for me is... not surprisingly... music.
MUSIC, the only area I can't seem to tap with my talents. Music, the utter mystery in how people can strum a few notes and make my heart sing, dance and rejoice.
Make me feel utter heartbreak in a minute and in the next utter joy.
Music, able to touch the depths of my soul, reach out and just touch me every time.
I hate to admit it, but no matter how much I try of every other medium... none of them can have that consistent impact on me like music does.
What I'm trying to say is that, I want to be well fed, I want to have my soul stuffed when I please and not starve on this left overs of art I'm given.
I want to read INCREDIBLE BOOKS. I want to see more INCREDIBLE movies. And I want to be completely entertained in all areas... not just music.
Sigh,,, you get my point, don't you?

Big Hero 6 Review
So what did I think of this movie?
It was good.
The ending saved it for me.
I could predict every twist a mile off but I think it was good family fair. It also didn't try to just go for adults. It was a mature kid/tween film which I liked. It wasn't just trying to cater to the adults and it was enjoyable. It did feel a little held back but I think it was because the two directors had only ever directed once before so didn't have as much experience with the really emotional stuff. Still I enjoyed it. It didn't try to be anything more than what it was. A nice flick which I may watch again and it dealt with the subject of loss and death very maturely. A nice film which will leave you feeling good. Going back to old school Disney in a way as such. 4 stars out of 5.

Dreamworks is NOT in trouble
Okay, people, people. PLEASE SETTLE DOWN about Dreamworks.
They are not in any deeper hole than what they have been in the past.
People have been going on and on about how much they've been struggling but they are not struggling any worse than usual.
Yes, 3 of their 4 last films didn't haven't really been successes but I can tell right here and right now, from a broader perspective why they aren't in trouble.
Number 1.
In the past their films also didn't earn that much money. The first four films they released only grossed around 300 million or less and it wasn't until Shrek did they get a big hit.
Secondly after Shrek a lot of their films still didn't gross that much. Most films averaged at around 300 million or less, meaning they also weren't box office successes and this has been going on for 20 years.
But here's the thing people. A movie earning 300 million is STILL a success in the broad scheme of things.
The average movie earns around 100- 150 million. That means that these films aren't average and ARE getting in the people! They're getting in a lot of people, just not enough to push the films pass sequel level.
Stand alone, these films actually are doing well!
It's only the budget which is out of control. An average Dreamworks film costs 120 million. An average CGI animated film should cost 70 mil to 90 mil. If Dreamworks could just cut down on its cost its films could all be successes!
A case example. Cloudy with a Chance Of Meatballs 2 cost 60 mil- 15 million less than it's predecessor. It grossed around 220 mil and that is below average for a sequel but guess what, because it was made relatively cheaply IT WAS A SUCCESS!
That's what I'm trying to tell ya! The average Dreamworks film is a success in that it's even passing 200 mil! And the films that pass 400 mil are the uber successes. How to Train Your Dragon, Kong Fu Panda, Madagascar and Shrek are the uber successes and earn more than enough to rival the big box office draws such as Guardians of The Galaxy or Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
So people. PLEASE calm your shit! They are doing fine.
They're struggling, but honestly, they've always been struggling.
Peace out.

A taste of an Apple (After Thoughts after 2 years)
I was just reading over an old story I wrote a couple of years ago called "A taste of An Apple" and had to say something that kind of surprised me.
I actually wanted Rainbow and AJ to be together always.
Now I know what your thinking, it's a romance, that's what people want. But let me explain.
Applejack and Rainbow Dash just had such a loving relationship in it in the second part and third. They were just so comfortable around each other. They made each other grow as characters.
In the first part they weren't the best suited for each other. They were passionate and crazy in love but at the same time reckless and destroyed a lot of lives (including their own to a degree) They were basically immature.
I think the whole love between the two really didn't start to blossom till the second part where they had to live with the consequences of the first.
Applejack was now an invalid and Rainbow Dash had to be a carer.
But it gets deeper than that. Rainbow Dash had grown an emotional dependency on Applejack and Applejack in return had had to grow a physical dependency on Rainbow Dash.
The independent goal setted Rainbow Dash basically had to make a decision which was never shown of giving up her dreams to take on Applejack's role in the family whereas Applejack no longer had a purpose and was being taken cared of by Dash even though it made her angry.
It's just the way the two saw each other as the story progressed.
Applejack said jokingly in the third part "You see me as a Goddess" which Rainbow Dash laughed off but was actually true.
Whereas Applejack was just so afraid of hurting Rainbow Dash so much because Rainbow had literally given up everything to be there for her and with her.
I think Rainbow became softer and weaker in the presence of Applejack because she just didn't want to hurt her yet Applejack had to become softer too as Rainbow fell more and more in love with her to the point of her whole reason to live (Applejack) went and made Dash wish her life was over every day.
It was just... such a cruel story. I... I don't know why I wrote it like that. It was beautiful but so... unmerciful. I wish when I had written it I had not killed Applejack.
The sad thing is is that it was only when Applejack and Rainbow came to an understanding in mid Part 2 did they really start to blossom as such an amazing couple. When Applejack actually knew how deep Rainbow's emotions went (after Rainbow had to tell her) Applejack had to give up her defining feature (Stubbornness) to be the pony Rainbow had fallen in love with.
I just... I can't fathom how much love Rainbow had for Appleajack. I wished Applejack could've just loved her with the same amount back. As I read it it always felt like Rainbow was lacking in love back from Applejack, that Rainbow had literally given Applejack her whole being and Applejack... could never give it back.
But Applejack couldn't. She had to be the strong one. If she loved Rainbow as much as Rainbow loved her I doubt the two would've ever left the bedroom (no joke). But also when Applejack finally did give her whole being back to Rainbow (when she knew she was dying and there was no point hiding it anymore) that just made it all the more worse for Rainbow as Rainbow fell even deeper in love with her to the point where it was like a complete bottomless pit. Applejack should've never given her all to Rainbow that last day of her life. She shouldn't of. That's what broke Rainbow. That's what destroyed her when Applejack show her that she was as deeply in love with her as Rainbow was to Applejack.
I just... I can't believe how much these two ended up being in love. And how scary it was when Applejack died. And how just... how it literally made Rainbow never able to love anyone again.
Each part they fell more and more in love It's just mad.
First there was normal love.
Than one's love getting more intense than the other.
Than both just baring their souls.
The two didn't start off as soul mates but they sure as hell became them.
And the sad thing about it all is that the two probably would've never become that close if Applejack hadn't nearly died and become an invalid.
Truly, truly a great great tradegy... but a sadness that lingers long after reading it that it makes me sad.
I actually wanted Rainbow to just die... just so she could be with Applejack again. They truly did become Romeo and Juliet... I just wish Applejack had had longer periods with Rainbow before she died.
Heartbreaking.

My favourite Quotes from Film and TV
These are just quotes that have stuck with me over the years.
Lion King 2:
Them? Us? They are us. What differences do you see?
The Simpsons:
If you are going to make me choose between my God and my man. I'm sorry but you are not going to win.
Pokemon The First Movie: I understand now it is not the circumstances of one's birth that matters, but what one does with the gift of life that is important.
Paranorman: There's always someone out there for you. Somewhere.
Stand By Me: "Am I weird?" "Yeah, but so what? Everyone's weird."
Lion King 2:
Them? Us? They are us. What differences do you see?
The Simpsons:
If you are going to make me choose between my God and my man. I'm sorry but you are not going to win.
Stand By Me: "Am I weird?" "Yeah, but so what? Everyone's weird."
Prince Of Egypt: When God sends you a blessing, you don't ask why it was sent.

My Favourite Ships that will never happen
Here's just a list of my top five favourite ships that will never come to be... sigh but who I've always been rooting for since I was a kid.
Anyway, I can still enjoy their friendships.
(This is from ships that will never or will likely never happen)
Anyway, I can still enjoy their friendships.
(This is from ships that will never or will likely never happen)
Number 5
Piggley and Danann
I'm sorry but if you were a kid watching this you too would root for these two! I just thought they were perfect for each other. With Danann having a foil to every one of Piggley's plans I just had to ship them. The two would bicker back and forth all the time like they were a couple and would always have a comeback to the other's antics. I just liked their chemistry. I was a kid, they actually acted like kids and if their were of the same species they probably would've had crushes on each other. Often the ones who bicker the most over everything are the ones that just don't want to let down their guard and see they actually like the other. But yeah... they will never be so just thought I would start with them.
Number 4
Irma and Cornelia
Okay, when I was eleven to thirteen I actually watched this show and really liked these two together. I liked how Irma always had a sly comeback to Cornelia's sarcasm. I liked how they could get along and be completely different yet compliment each other so well. I really wanted them together. They just, they would've been awesome as a couple. Those two were the sexiest characters in the group and put together they would just bring a whole new dynamic. So yeah... again never gonna happen.
Number 3
Skipper and Kowalski
I only ship the movie version of Kowalski with Skipper but boy do I ship them hard. This is my newest pair I ship that I know will never happen. But damnit, Kowalski just has so much heart and respect for Skipper. I just... I like the leader and second in command thing going on here. Skipper leaves Kowalski to come up with all the plans and Kowalski never disappoints. I just want Skipper to show him some more love damnit! They are just so awesome together, hopefully in the movie they'll get some fuzzy moments <3
Number 2
Applejack and Rainbow Dash
Just buck and get it over with! These two fight back and forth like cats and dogs but it's so obvious they want each other (especially in the first two seasons when they had the most time together) They get along really well too when they're not fighting. If only it wasn't a little girls' show. The thing about this is that this relationship will never really be explored. That's one thing bad about Friendship is Magic. The friendships haven't been explored properly since season 1 and all we get now are just snippets. But yeah... THESE TWO. They just, they just... are awesome darn tootin! If one of them was a guy things would've been resolved in bed long ago but because their both girls I don't think it will ever really be shown other than frustrated sexual tension. Ah well.
Number 1
Brian and Stewie
OMG THEY LIKE ARE LIKE, GOD!! Why the hell do they have to be a baby and a DOG? But these two are just amazing together. Literally, the show has made it clear the two need each other in one another's life but they just... it frustrates me. There has been so many sexual jokes about these two, with Stewie's obsession with Brian to Brian actually being attracted to Stewie (unknowningly) when he dressed up as Karina Steel. God! But with this one I actually have some hope. Family Guy just might go there. Heck that Vault episode showed Brian licking Stewie's ass and him enjoying it too, Stewie not able to live with out Brian so goes back in time to save his life. These two might actually end up... some what... possibly, 1 out of a 100 chance of happening. So yeah... who knows. It may be just an extreme bromance but maybe one day it could actually turn into a real... romance?
So that's my top 5 ships that will never happen. Hope you liked.

The Pretentious Writer
I love to write. I write for fun, I write because I enjoy it.
But one thing I'm starting to hate is actual writers.
A lot of them come off really pretentious. I would say I'm still an amateur writer even after eleven years but I only ever started writing to write stories I would enjoy to read.
But some writers are so up them selves. You can usually see this represented most in Brian Griffin as he is shown as an extreme pretentious writer but you wouldn't be shocked how close to the truth it is.
Writer's always think that their way is the best. They will go through your work and nitpick everything. A lot are perfectionist yet don't realize that spending hours going over they work usually doesn't improve it much.
If you've ever talked to one they go on and on about how they develop characters their own way and how it is superior to anyone else's way, how they write, their methods to get the story just right and so on.
I'm actually ashamed to call myself a writer because it means I'm associating with "Those" people.
They criticize everything and go on about how they would've made it better, take everything too seriously and so on.
I'm just sick of a lot of the ones I meet.

My top 2 Father Son relationships in film
One thing I love in films is father son relationships BUT only if they are done right. Here are my top two father son relationships and why they work so well for me. WARNING-mushiness insures.
Goofy and Max VS Mr Peabody and Sherman
Goofy and Max's relationship in the Goofy Movie is done really well. I think in part is because Goofy is just such a good father figure. He tries too hard to be in his son's life whereas Max wants to separate himself from his dad and pave his own life.
So that's my two fav Father Son bonds done on film.
And remember,
Watch what others won't.
Bye!
Goofy is the absolute most embarrassing parent but to me I just see him as the most loving. He loves Max to the max and even though his parenting could be seen as over burdening I think it's better to have a kind hearted loving parent than one who is always absent. Max and Goofy don't really compliment each other or have much in common but they just work well together. You want to see them get along, you want to see them bond and this movie does this impeccably. The relationship seems natural and comes full cycle as Max finally near the end becomes honest to his old man. This movie stands alone and just leaves you feeling good. Also it is extremely heart warming the bond between Max and Goofy and just gives you a warm feeling watching them together.
Mr Peabody's and Sherman's relationship is different but at the same time very similar
Mr Peabody is a very loving parent but at the same time you wonder why he is one. He came upon Sherman abandoned as a baby and adopted him. He then dedicated his life to parenthood but it's not very often you see geniuses with kids. You can tell Peabody is raising Sherman well but as he is a very kind, bubbly child who is friendly to all and even though he may not have his adoptive father's brains Sherman is encouraged by Peabody every step of the way.
The one thing I love about this relationship is that Peabody is such a unique character. A dog who is talented in everything he puts his paw to. And Sherman is such a happy child who has respect for his father a great deal which you rarely see these days in cartoons but is a happy relief to come by once in a while. The two again don't really compliment or bounce off each other much and it's more of a equal relationship in both bond and love making it quite mutual. Again, that is what makes this relationship unique because there is no real conflict in it. Sherman loves his know it all dad and Peabody loves his clueless son. So it's nice to see something like this every once in a while.
Conclusion
So who do I think is more impacting and sticks with you longer after the film has ended? That would have to go to
Goofy and Max!
Even though Peabody and Sherman's relationship has more trust in it and respect you just can't hate a good conflicting relationship sometimes. Goofy tries so hard throughout the whole movie to win Max's affections that when the two finally do get along you just feel it all the more. The two are just funny together and are more interesting to watch than Peabody and Sherman. But in the long term I think Peabody's and Sherman's relationship is more stable and that Sherman will always keep in contact with his father later in life whereas Max will probably always be embarrassed by his dad.
And remember,
Watch what others won't.
Bye!

Why I don't read but like to write
I've never liked books. Well most books. I always wanted to read a story that would enchant me, was fun and would bring me into it's world.
But I was a very fussy reader.
Most books bored me. I think in total I've only completed 20 books in 22 years of my life.
But the thing is, I don't mind reading... it's just that I don't like the way most authors write.
When I was 11 I started to write my own books just so I would have something I would like to read. I wrote for myself, told the stories how I wanted to and still do to this day.
Nearly all books fall under expectation.
The only book series I've ever finished was Twilight and even though people say those books were bad, they were the only ones that hooked me.

Little parts in movies that don't work or feel contrived.
I love these movies but there are particular little bits in them that bug me because they just ruin the flow of the film.
Frozen- The Evil Prince Reveal and Love is the answer.
The reason why the evil prince reveal was so bad is because when Hans came out as the villain it just felt so contrived to me. Not because it was bad but because his kind personality he had shown even before he knew Anna was a princess and the way he acted all up to that reveal completely counters the villainous side of him. I felt that they just went for this because they "needed" a villain no matter what. It just didn't fit with the plot and took an unnecessary mean turn from everything else that had happened up to that point and how he had acted before.
Mr Peabody and Sherman- Penny should be in Ancient Egypt.
There was a complete and obvious plot hole in this that bugs me every time I see it. When Sherman returned back to the same time as another him with Penny it caused the original Sherman not to go back in time to get Penny in the first place. That meant that Penny should have disappeared from the present. It just bugged that she was there when she should have had her timeline altered. That was just sloppy writing there, sloppy writing.
The Goofy Movie- I just wanted you to like me

Love solves everything. That bit pissed me off as the ending. I can understand that being a good message but it just seemed like a quick fix solution to a really worrying problem. And all of a sudden Elsa has control of her powers just because she now knows love? Five minutes ago she had had no control and now they can all ice skate? I don't think so. The ending was not thought out at all and rushed. That ruined a perfectly good movie for me.

The Goofy Movie- I just wanted you to like me
This one always bugs me a whole lot when I see this movie because it's one of my favourite animated films. When Max was panicking that Roxanne would go with someone else to a party he lied to her and told her he was going to be on TV at the Powerline concert. He said this so she wouldn't go with anyone else, but he knew she liked her. However when he did get on TV and came back, he told her it was a lie and an accident and she asks why would he make up something like that. He says,
"I don't know... I just wanted you to like me."
ER GOOFBALL! She made it clear from the start that she liked you! And you knew she did, you just didn't want her to go with someone else. You didn't do that thing to seem cool, you did it so she wouldn't go with someone ELSE! So that was a big annoying thing that always bugs me at the end of the movie.

Mr Peabody and Sherman Review
I really enjoyed this film. I thought it was a great homage to the show and a great father son movie. The animation in particular was quite beautiful especially in the lighting. I thought the jokes were quite funny and the characters nicely realized. The only conundrum was the hidden plot hole that some people mightn't have noticed such as Penny from the time travelling adventure should have disappeared or had been stuck back in ancient Egypt.
I especially liked the use of the song Beautiful Boy being used as it was really fitting and quite a heartwarming moment in the film that kinda came out of nowhere. I also liked how Peabody was pushed to the breaking point and bit a human when the child care lady was about to take Sherman away. All in all quite a good movie. I'd give it 8/10 and would definitely see it again.

Cartoon Characters that I shouldn't be attracted too but am.
Hey there, now this post is about cartoon characters I shouldn't be attracted to but am for some reason.
They are usually animals or under age and if they were real I wouldn't find em attractive but any who.
No. 5
The magic carpet in Aladdin.
I don't know what it is about Stewie dressed up, especially in these two outfits but he is really cute as Zach Saywer and Karina Smirnoff. Yeah, this one is particularly bad because he's a baby, but I don't know, I think half of its to do with personality. When he looks normal, I'm not attracted to him but in these, I just think he's hot.
No. 2
Rainbow Dash
Yeah, Another animal, but to be honest, I've found Brian hot for a while. I think he looks mature and boyish plus he is funny in how much of a jerk he can be sometimes without even realizing it. So yeah, If these character's were real I probs wouldn't find them attractive, but as 2 dimensional drawings, there's just something hot about them.

No. 5
The magic carpet in Aladdin.
Okay, starting off the list is the carpet from Aladdin. I don't know why but there is just something sexy about that carpet. It has personality, is funny and yeah... weird right\
No. 4
Roxanne from Goofy Movie
/Yeah, I don't know what it is but I just find this character design really attractive. I love the sleepy eyes and big pupils, the hair and the big nose. I also like her personality and I just think she is really pretty. Kicker, she's only 14. So that's why she makes this list.
No. 3
Stewie Griffin when he dresses up.

Rainbow Dash
Okay, I don't know what it is about this character design, but that look and that personality just makes her attractive. She's confident and funny and really pretty in a tomboyish type of way. So yeah.

Top 10 Angry Beaver Episodes
I know that I rarely write about this show, but damn it if it's not my favourite Cartoon series of all time.
And with that, I'm counting down my top 10 episodes.
No 10
Open Wide for Zombie
I like this episode because I just like the brother's interaction in this, the dark plot and the surreal setting. Norb and Dag's beds float into a shack that is occupied by zombies but Norb thinks Dag is just being racist. Dag than finds that the woman who owns the shack is a voodoo witch and she tries to kill Norb and Dag for their teeth. The two escape but this episode is very original and very different from the shows usually stuff.
No. 9
Kreature Komforts
No. 5
Stare and Stare Alike
In this classic episode, Norbert and Dag have a staring contest for a whole 11 minutes. I think one of the reasons why I love this episode is because it's plot is so simple yet so compelling. All this show has to work with most of the time is Norb's and Dag's chemistry and just seeing these two talk back and forth and trying to make the other blink is just hilarious. When ever I want to watch a funny episode I just go to this one. Classic and well written with such a simple plot, if this episode doesn't entertain you. well I don't really care.
No 4
Long tall Daggy
In this episode, Norb is horrified to find that his baby brother is taller than him. This episode is good because we get to see Norbert have a nervous breakdown over something so small but so vital to him. Dag rubs it in his face for the whole episode and Norb is less than happy to measure the next day their height. But this is when the episode becomes a personally favourite because Dag goes on his knees to make Norb look taller. After Norb thinks he's the tallest again he becomes his old obnoxious self again but what Dag did was personally such a nice thing and it really shows how Dag cares about his brothers feelings.
No 3
Pond Scum
This episode I like because I just think it's really well executed. Dag is adorable like usual and I think Norbert turning temporarily evil is done quite well. Plus I think the villain is funny and the two brothers going against each other is quite entertaining. I just like this episode. There's nothing particularly memorable about it but I think it works quite well.
No. 2
Alley Oops
This episode I like because it has a very good moral and is entertaining throughout. Norb and Dag go to a bowling alley where they have to compete against another group of brothers to play there. The kicker is is that Norb doesn't want to play because he sucks at bowling and Dag keeps saying "It's okay to do something you suck at as long as you're having fun sucking."
The Beaver brothers end up winning the game and Norb realizes that he shouldn't be so selfish and only do what he likes.
No 1
Faking it
And number one is Fakin' it. I love this episode because it just shows how much Dag cares for his brother. Norb pretends to be sick so he doesn't have to redo the damn and so Dag takes care of him. Norb abuses his power but and runs Daggett ragged. Dag then gets sick and Norb takes care of him. Dag only worsens until he is about to die and Norbert admits that he was faking. To that Dag just replies, "I WAS FAKING TOO!"
Norb gets pissed at this and threatens to beat up his brother but Dag just tells him how worried he was when he thought that Norb was sick and that he shouldn't have faked first.
Then comes the fuzzies as Norb says, "You were really worried about me?"
And the two hug and make up before both actually getting sick in the spot.
And that is my top ten episodes. I think to see if you really like the show you should check out these episodes in particular and see what you think.
And until next time!
Watch what other's won't. Bye!
And with that, I'm counting down my top 10 episodes.

No. 9
Kreature Komforts
I like this episode because it is simple yet funny. The beavers "Slow" cousin comes to stay with them for a while and Norb is amazed how his cousin is able to live the simple life. He convinces Dag that they should do this too so the brothers become wild beavers. Only thing is is that neither likes it so go back to rebuilding their dam. This episode is funny because it makes fun of real beavers and the whole episode centres around how strange a real beaver is to the two brothers.
No. 8
Daggy Dearest
This episode centres around Dag thinking he gave birth to a mongoose and acting like a mummy to it for most the episode till he gets bored with it and tells Norb to get rid of it which his brother tries too but bonds with the Mongoose baby and the two brother's look after it till the mum comes and takes it back. The episode is funny for its absurd humor, seeing the two beavers take on a parent role and just how entertaining it is for the whole 11 minutes.
No 7
Dagski And Norb
This whole episode is a parody of Starski and Hutch and is ridiculously funny. The plot is about who's been stealing boxes, they keep making fun of the word karp and just make fun of the show in the best possible way. I think this episode is just the funniest out of all of them and that is why it makes the list.
No 6
Trees Company
In this episode Norbert just wants some alone time so he can finish building his model but Dag won't leave him alone. Eventually Dag does go and has a party up a tree. Norb wants to be invited but when he gets up there he finds there is no one but Dag. I like this episode because I like the ending and how the two brothers decide to just party by themselves. Not the best but certainly one of the most heart warming and enjoyable.

My Favourite Comedy Duos
I think that in this arena, Men definitely reign when it comes to comedy duos for me.
But I'm gonna lay out my top 5 and why these 5 are so great.
Number 5
Father Ted and Father Dougal
Now these two are hilarious together and are put together in every episode. Ted's kinda like the Dougal's dad/best friend/ mentor and Dougal to Ted is just difficulty and stupid.
The whole brilliance of the show was how those two would interact and I think they were what made the show work so brilliantly. Plus the last episode really shows they bond because these two basically do everything together and even though Ted finds Dougal a nuisance sometimes, you gotta love how they still manage to remain best buds even in the worse case scenarios.
Number 4
Negil and Tulio
But I'm gonna lay out my top 5 and why these 5 are so great.
Number 5
Father Ted and Father Dougal

Plus the last episode really shows they bond because these two basically do everything together and even though Ted finds Dougal a nuisance sometimes, you gotta love how they still manage to remain best buds even in the worse case scenarios.
Number 4
Negil and Tulio
These two are hilarious too. With Tulio's street smarts and Negil's innocence and flirtatious nature you instantly feel the bond between these two buds from the first second the film runs. They really are quite hilarious. Even when they get into a fight it is a funny one and how these two guys can be effeminate yet charming at the same time is a hard thing to pull off. So cheers to them.
Number 3
Norbert and Daggett
Now these two are probably the most random of the bunch. These two beaver brothers are both at fault with huge flaws and sometimes it's hard to know who you like more. With Norbs sophistication and Daggetts sweet but stupid and sometimes insane antics these two both got equal spot light in every area. It was never who was more cool or who was more stupid to me because I always so them as a package deal. You can't have Norb without Dag and vice verse. They just made a whole with both having someone unique qualities and quirks it would always have to be the Angry Beavers, never Beaver.
Number 2
Dumb and Dumber dudes
Now these two is what I would like to call retarded. They amplify the very essence of comedy and duo and really just shows you the worse and best of what two besties who are completely hugely ignorant can be like. This movie really is ridiculous but this was one of the first times we see completely chaos that is created by two morons with the best intentions, most of the time. They may be best buds but these two are also what happens when two brain damaged psychotic dudes get together. Complete and utter chaos.
Number 1
Ben and Cameron
Hey, I had to put my own fav original duo on the list. Yes Ben and Cameron have been pretty much the cool unswayed dudes of the comic Adolescence but they roles are very different. With the two it's pretty much, Cameron insult, Ben don't get. I've added another character into the mix to mix things up but these two were my first comedy duo I created myself so of course they'd be a favourite.
And there you have it, my top 5 comedy duos. Most are old news but still classics and some are barely known.
So as always,
Watch what other's won't.
See ya!
