Johnny the Homicidal Maniac

I must say- this graphic novel is brilliant.
The sense of comedy is great and yet it is so dark and sadistic in nature you must really think that only an open person could like such a thing BUT ANYONE CAN LIKE IT.

I love the book. It is very well written, the dialog is intrigueing and the characters can easily be imagined in personality with none of them coming off bland.
Even though Johnen Vasquez does seemed to have a way in which he treats most of the common people- either groesque and stupid, prozac happy or... normal. With Johnny analysing it all and seeing what really is behind the world and if what he is doing is really bad?
I could even tell that Johnny was a smart individual. He was actually too intelligent and often people with great intellect are the ones that suffer most from mental issues.
I found the comic so original I have not been able to find any other comics of any sort the same in humor as Jhonen Vasquez's.
In other words.
This comic should be read by people who like the strange and unfamiliar. People who like things that are just a little salted and with spice in other words...
This comic is for you and me.
